Generally, all colleges require you to have a minimum score of 45% in your 10+2 from a recognized board of school.

Photography is not a traditional subject that you or I can get in a University Degree. Most Often, we get it in Mass Comm/ Mass Media or Journaism Degrees. People Doing Film Making or related Electronic Media studies also get to do this SUBJECT.
But MOST of the People doing Photography on a Large Scale are the ones who did not do a degree but pursued the INTEREST!
You have interest, keep it active and join people who do photography. At your B.Sc. Institution as well you can showcase your SKILLS of Photography.
If you are just Interested and have never tried to enhance your skills of photography, then you need to do hardwork in this.

In order to become a photographer, you can go for a short term course in photography like basics and fundamentals of photography. Many colleges teach photography as a certificate or a diploma course. You just need to understand the concept of camera and the art of photography. Taking up a field of expertise like nature, wildlife, fashion etc is an individual choice. If you are new to photography, there are courses like basics of photography, fundamentals of photography offered by various institutes as a short term course. These courses will familiarize you with the various aspects and concepts of photography. But if you are already aware of the basics, you can option for an advanced diploma
