No, there are no subjects like maths and physics in the photography course. Subjects that are mainly taught are basics of photography, film camera and processing, selection of shots, etc.

Educational: There are no specific academic requirements for full time courses in photography, however, candidates who have cleared the 10+2 exam are eligible for the diploma/certificate courses in photography. There are many students who learn photography along with their college degree, doing a part-time course. You should definitely pursue your interests. Although, a degree in chemistry has immense scope in the industry, I have always believed that your interests should be given prime importance. If you are good in photography, you should explore the field, and see if you can make a mark somewhere.
