The best strategy to study for JEE Advanced is to use previous year papers. Purchase a book from a prior year that contains questions broken down by topic. Complete any topic from a standard book or a lecture on YouTube, then instantly answer the questions from the prior year. Other helpful information is 1. Avoid studying all three subjects continuously. At least two days should be spent studying one subject, followed by a second and so on. 2. Try not to read too many books. Focus on only one book. One for issues and one for theory. 3. Look at the solutions to at least 20 to30 problems and find the answers.

Expect the minimum cutoff of 92% for Physics Honours in the first list. The cutoff should come down by 23% by the third list (although quite a lot of colleges close the admission for Physics by third list). .

The next best thing you can do is have a good background in first year calculus-based Physics (mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and Optics in particular). Assuming you have these two requisites you should have absolutely no problems with any introductory course. Tips to score well in Physical Chemistry:-
