There are few points one must pay heed on. Know the syllabus. Collect all the materials and books required. Prepare a time table and stick to it. Don't start studying anything randomly. Prepare a time table which has either daily or weekly goals. Don't skip the theory. Make notes of important points and formulas in a separate copy. That copy will be helpful for your last moment revision for IIT JAM physics.
Start solving questions. Start solving a lot of problems from good sources. Start giving sectionals and mocks

The aggregates score is calculated and not separate subjects. You can check the same from the websites of good colleges.
