The Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management has the eligibility criteria of completing 10+2 and the student should not have a score of less than 45%. And as you said you got overall 68% but failed in phyiscs so you would not get admission in CIET because every college has the minimum eligibility criteria of passing in all the subjects.

Applicants for BITSAT must have completed coursework in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for their 10+2 standard qualifying exam. These applicants, however, will only be qualified for admission to B.Pharma programmes. Candidates who chose biology in their 10+2 standard test will not be eligible to apply for the engineering entrance exam since BTech/BE admissions require mathematics as a required subject.
