After B.Tech in mechanical engineering doing M.Sc. In physics may not give you any direct tangible benefits. It will better to opt for M.Tech in specialisation of your choice.

It is indeed very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing an aviation course. It all depends on how much more time you can invest along with money. You can think of doing commercial pilot course. Frankly, with M.Sc in Physics, I am sure you can get a job in DRDO or ISRO and then pursue your dream of working in the aviation field. Candidates having first-class Bachelor's degree (minimum 60 % marks)in engineering, technology, electronics, communication, mechanical engineering, and computer Science can apply for SET exam. Age Limit for DRDO SET Exam is 28 years and You must be a citizen of India to apply.
