Hello Himanshi, yes indeed. For admissions into bio related engineering courses taking biology in 12th is perfectly acceptable. However, there are some institutions that have mandated maths and physics as compulsory and choice between chemistry or biology. Hence, you need to check before applying.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Sarnya,
For admission in Biotechnology, you need not to prepare Maths and physics for the same as for admission in any post graduation degree you need to prepare only the subject for which you are seeking admission. Some universities may have MAT section as well, you can prepare for that but no need to prepare Maths and physics.
Good luck.

Secondly, since there are many countries and universities you have to do some research and narrow down your choice. You have to check university admission requirements, the fees, admission deadlines, language requirements, etc. In addition, some places like US and Canada do not accept Indian 3-year degree. Similarly, different universities have different requirements. You may have to take GRE. IELTS or TOEFL for English language proficiency is also required. You can check UK, Australia, New Zea
