The system does not see individual subject marks as a criterion. It seeks your best of four percentage including English and the subject you wish to pursue your degree in. Calculate your best of four percentage and wait for the cut-off to be announced sometime around late June or early July.

There are many opportunities available in IT field for M.Sc. Physics graduates. Many IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro and CTS recruit M.Sc. Physics graduates for software jobs. They can also get jobs in Energy Plants. Another job available for these graduates is Technician in Electronic Industry. They can apply for jobs in many companies in automobile industry. I. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/Government or
ii. Master's degree in Chemistry / Life Science / Mathematics / Physics / related subjects from educational Institutions approved by UGC/ Government or
iii. Degrees obtained through Distance Education/ Correspondence Mode for the qualifying degree specified in [(I) or (ii)]. The Departments will follow test/interview procedure for screening in such cases. Iv. It is partially true, the public universities are free but not every single university. Undergraduate courses are free and also very selective. To study B.Sc in Germany you must complete class 12th and one more additional year of formal schooling, since they require 13 years of education. You can clear IIT-JEE Advance to be eligible or enroll into a B.Sc physics course in India and complete the first year with outstanding percentage. You have to be brilliant to be accepted by German universities.
