Several colleges in the United States offer master's programmes in physiotherapy (also known as physical therapy). Top institutions include the University of Southern California, which is noted for its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programme, and the University of Pittsburgh, which has a well-regarded DPT programme that focuses on clinical practice and research. Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine also offers a well regarded DPT programme. Other famous programmes include those at Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Delaware, and Emory University. These programmes often need a strong undergraduate Science foundation and provide intensive hands-on training to prepare graduates for successful jobs in a variety of healthcare settings.

Indeed, beginning with the 2024 academic year, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will offer the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program. At BHU, the BPT programme is a 54-month full-time degree that includes a six-month internship. The course will cost you about ?72,056 in total. There are twenty-five spots available in various categories for the BPT course. Candidates must be citizens of India and be between the ages of 17 and 25 as of December 31, 2024, to be eligible. They must also have completed 10+2 or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% of the possible points in English and the Science subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology, for the general category (other categories have different requirements). The university administers an entrance exam, which determines admission.
