Dear Khushi, Congratulations on securing 161 marks in CMAT 2025! IMI Kolkata typically sets its CMAT cutoff around the 70th percentile. While exact percentiles can vary each year, a score of 161 may place you near or slightly below this threshold. However, admissions decisions also consider factors like your academic record, work experience, and performance in the Personal Interview (PI). It's advisable to apply and prepare thoroughly for the PI to enhance your chances. Wishing you the very best in your application process!

There are more than 450 B Des colleges in India and the admission process of almost every college differs depending on their set criteria. However, if you're seeking admission to the top BDes colleges such as NIDs, NIFTs, or IITs, you may need to prepare for these rounds as they generally conduct them to assess and select candidates for the BDes program.
