Subjects carried by this university are Basic electronics, Analog electronics, digital electronics, control system, signals and system, Network theory, electronics measurements, Digital signal processing, Information theory & coding, Microprocessor, Micro controller, embedded system, Transducers & its applications etc.

Overall, I know PIET is a good college with nice staff. You can pursue in CSE or IT branch, as these are evergreen branches. But, do not have blind faith in college. Pull out your efforts also by learning new and new things.

With the current competition level, advanced digitisation and increased use of RTI services, I don't think it is too easy for any company to hire candidates just based on acquaintances. Even if selected, the chances of the student being terminated are higher during or after the probation period if the candidate possesses the skill set a company requires. And, if a student already has the skill set a company is looking for, the chances of his/her recruitment is much higher without needing any acquaintances.
