Yes, it requires only 10+2. So definitely can. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visithttp://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htmandgototheclass2nd examiners tab to find out doctors who will examine you for initial fitness. You should be aware that the cost of CPL Training is dependent on the type of aircraft you choose to GET trained on. Cessna 152 - Rs.7000-8000 Per Hour
Cessna 172 - Rs.9000-11000 Per Hour
P-16 - Rs.15000-18000 Per Hour etc. And any candidate who gets enrolled for this professional training requires to complete 200 hrs of flying, in order to GET his/her CPL issued. Hence the total cost including accommodation + food goes around 35-40 Lakhs. IGRUA & NFTI are two premiere institutions in India who also have tie-up with international TRTO CAE. Hope this has made things clear for you!

If you come from any reserved category then you can apply for Freeship for which every commission has its own norms. You can visit their webpage and find out the details. And if you come from General Category then you can go for loan in education category. Which is provided by almost all the banks. Refer SBI and PNB as your first priority because they allow lower interest rates.

That's right you can do PCM from NIOS or UP Board. They just need you to have PCM at 10+2 level. It is irrespective of what board you come from. Go ahead.
