Generalised detail for For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. SPL is an intermediate stage to get CPL. It is issued by the flying school after some ground training and an internal exam. It facilitates your flying training to be initiated.

IGRUA comes up with notification for CPL entrants.
The advertisement for admission to Ab-initio to CPL course appears in Employment News and other leading newspapers generally in the month of March/April. Application format is also included in the advertisement.
The exam is aptitude based. You can follow NDA syllabus to prepare for this exam.

The fee varies depending on the type of aircraft you get trained on.
CPL is an expensive affair. It might cost you around Rs. 18-20 Lacs for flying + DGCA exams Rs. 500 for each exam + medicals for Rs.10,000 + endorsements and license issue fees around Rs. 25k + Type Rating around Rs. 15 Lacs. So, decide wisely before you enter the field.

Some banks like SBI and PNB have schemes for loan for CPL. Otherwise, OBC/SC/ST commissions give chances to such candidates belonging to their community and interested in pursuing CPL. They give loans at subsidized rates and hence, candidates get a chance to pursue their dream.

Yes, you can apply for CPL.
But my advice for you is to first clear your 10+2 with PCM and then go for class 1 medical. Thereafter, join CPL training.

Private pilot license holders have actually no scope in the aviation market. You may get a chance to become a ground instructor but only till the time they do not get any other full-time instructor.
Only CPL can get you a full-time pilot's job.
