There are 3 stages to becoming a commercial pilot as mentioned below:
1) To become a commercial pilot in India, one has to first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL). To get the SPL those with 10+2 with Science and aged at least 16 years should register at a flying club, which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. Registration requires a medical certificate, security clearance and a bank guarantee. Hello Aniket, Eligibility for schools for flying training is 10+2 with PCM. If you have taken admission in Diploma after 12th then you are definitely eligible. Else convince the flying school that Diploma is equivalent to 12th. (IIT's have this!).

Talking of doing CPL and then thinking of doing it at cheap cost are two far ends.
Doing CPL is a costly affair and it requires the candidate to fly actual aircraft and since it is a professional course it should be done under the guidance of experienced and well trained instructors.
You may find cheap flying clubs in Phillipines, many go there to do their CPL training and after returning they convert their license to Indian license.
But there's another fact related to it, that a couple of years ago Phillipines was black listed by DGCA for doing CPL. Although now the restrictions have been lifted off.

To be a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible.
Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visithttp://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htmand go to the class 2nd examiners tab to find out doctors who will examine you for initial fitness. You can visit any doctorate from the list as per your convenience.
