1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed class 12th with science (Physics and mathematics) with 50% marks.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)

To become a pilot after +2, you need to join CPL (commercial pilot license) and you should have physical and mental fitness. All pilot courses are expensive. There is no guarantee of job after completing CPL or being a pilot also. You have to do struggle for getting job.
Rest will be your luck only.

SPL is Student Pilot License. Yes, it is necessary to take SPL to become a pilot because it's a very first stage of getting flying license.
SPL - PPL - CPL
These are the stages on which you have to get these license on time.

For being a pilot, you have to pass class 12th with physics and maths.
After that, you have to select the govt. flying clubs in which you want to take training and rest of the procedure is done at the flying club.
For being a perfect pilot, you need minimum 90 lacs for all training.
