Yes, you have an entrance exam. First, you have to clear class 2 medical test and class 1 medical test, then you should clear the papers. All the questions will be in choice only, so you can choose the correct one. The above exams are on the basis of DGCA. DGCA is a government exam for aviation. When it approves you, you can start your pilot training.

Hi,
You can do it after 12th. Good percentage in 10+2 PCM is mandatory. Doing a B.Sc or not doing a B.Sc does not matter since you must eventually pass the training and licensing exam of the particular country. Instead you can do a B.Sc in aviation management, etc. after your pilot training is over. You can study part time or through distance while working.

Hi Meet,
You can apply for the H1 visa but only after you get the license. So, after completing the training and passing necessary exams your employer must issue the h1 visa which is now-a-days challenging.

First, you should make your body fit because many of them fail in the medical fitness so be fit. Then, you need to be fluent in English and should get above 75% marks in maths, physics to get some scholarships. If you join a govt. college, there is an entrance exam conducted by DGCA but in private colleges, they will take you without any entrance exam. First, in colleges, you must get the SPL and only then, you can get CPL. The fees will be around 30 Lakhs. All the best.
