Hello Pratiksha,
It's very nice to know your dream of becoming pilot. There are flying clubs in the country which impart the training and get you required license. The budget should be about 50L for course. But banks will give you a loan so don't worry.

Hello Hemanth,
If your dream is to become a pilot, it's great. Pilots are expected to be required in large numbers in future. But you don't have to be an aeronautical engineer for this. You simply join a flying school, and at the end of the course, you are a pilot. You need to have PCM in class 12th. That's all.

You can become a pilot by getting a CPL from any recognised flight school and the salary starts with 14 lakhs and then increases as you're flying hours increases.

Yes, you can become pilot directly after completing your 10th class but preferably one must complete 10+2 with Mains subjects as maths and physics before getting admission in flight school.

Flying Pilot is an excellent career option. There is a general shortage of trained and experienced Pilots worldwide. Majority of pilots requirement is in Asia Pacific region. Commercial Pilots are paid one of the best salaries in India with other perks.
Following are two options to become pilot in India

CPL license are valid if you are medically fit. Therefore, in order to mitigate the risk of medical fitness in commercial pilot career, it is a good strategy to obtain other professional degree along with CPL. You may go ahead with B.Sc Aviation and also MBA duration professional career.

It costs approximately 80 to 85 lakhs to get a CPL and the job opportunities are endless provided you should be the best in the group.

Eligibility criteria to obtain CPL is as follows:
(a) Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and Physics.
(b) Minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
(c) Vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
(d) General physical fitness as approved by DGCA is mandatory.
You are eligible to obtain CPL subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.
