It is really courage that you wanna be the pilot. But, you seems confused about the course! See, first if all, you have to decide that what type of pilot you want to be? 1) Fighter pilot: then, you must to go with NDA (most preferred) or direct admission in IAF through career indianairforce.in
2)Commercial pilot: Dear! for this there is a separate academy (aviation academy) in which you can go after your 12th (70% or 75%) with some exceptional physical fitness (most preferred) but they are really costly ) OR you can go with B.Tech Aerospace or Aeronautics or Aeronautical Engineering from a prestigious university to get direct

(a) Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and Physics.
(b) Minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
(c) Vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
(d) General physical fitness as approved by DGCA is mandatory.

And getting job is again depends on your ability to clear exams and interviews and sometimes your contacts.
Average cost 25 lakhs ( just for PPL, CPL, IR) and other costs depends.
There are many jobless pilots in India, some are really smart and some are just seating with CPL on hand ( no multi engine time ) and those who got ME have hardly few hours on Multi engine too.
I know few pilots who got some experience by working on Cessna caravan in Africa and when he came to india with about 450 hours of total time he got
