Hi KARTHI,
The beginning fee of the commercial pilot license (CPL) is 20 lakhs about and the most is 50 lakhs. The cost is likewise special university/institute/university to college/institute/college.

First of all there should not be a comparison between these two roles as they are meant for different purposes. Fighter is for fighting the enemy with a single man and with lot of weapons carrying with him. Commercial pilots are also at risk due to weather conditions and other aspects. Fighter plane more faster than commercial planes. Passenger safety is given more priority as they paid for that trust kept on pilots fighter pilot has trust and responsibility of more people as he has to safe guard the defence of the country. Hello, Sanjankalyanshetty, starting salary of pilot could be anything from INR 2 Lacs to INR 4 lacs. It all depends on the experience of the pilot and for the truly fresh pilot it could be at the minimum of the band. Best wishes to you.

Hello Neeru Kalher, It is very nice to hear from you that you want to become a pilot and more importantly you are trying to find out what the medically called conditions for a student can become a pilot. Yes, eyesight should be 6 by 6 but it may not be the natural thing even correcting its eyesight to this level is acceptable. But eyesight is not the only thing. Many more conditions are tested by the medical team at every flying college or Academy before they will admit you to the course which will enable you to become a pilot. Hello Agni Storm, I have not understood by your statement of directly studying aviation. Normally speaking flying Academy is take students 12th standard examination and they also require that students should be of Science stream. Flying requires lots of technical knowledge and maybe because of this eligibility would be only for Science students of 12th.For gaming general knowledge about requirements I would advise you to go to the website of Indira Gandhi rashtriy udyan Academy. Every pilot must have at least 20/20 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses in place. If your vision is so poor that glasses are unable to correct your vision to that level, then most agencies will not allow you to proceed with training. The one exception is pilots over the age of 50. They can fly as long as they have at least 20/40 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses. So you must have at least 20/20 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses in place.

Bombay Flying Club CPL fees are estimated between INR 8 lakh to 10lakh PA. BFC fees for CPLis an expensive course with loads of technicalities. Other fees like PPL fees, AME, and CPL go from 4 to 7 lakh and above PA.

Dear aspirant, To join CPL Course, a candidate should fill the form of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET).
