To become a pilot, you need to do CPL (Commercial Pilot License) program. You can do this in India or abroad. The big advantage of doing this from abroad is the training schools have training runways whereas most Flying schools in India depend on National or International airports which are very busy throughout the year, making training aircraft the least priority for Air Traffic Controllers. Most students who go abroad are able to finish the CPL within a year whereas it could take 2 to 3 years to complete the course in India. You generally need to do the Theory for CPL and do about 200 hours of flying to become a Pilot in I

1) Avex notes. http://www.avex.co.za.
2) FTC questions.
Avex questions are a bit simple. With FTC, you get to the exam and recognise the exact questions. Its always nice to work it out.
FTC question's use a lot of mock exams. I would recommend doing them until you get tired of it.

Of course, you can. You just need to have 55% in physics, chemistry and maths. Don't listen to what people are saying, just follow your dream and go ahead.

You can directly apply for CPL course from NFTI directly but better option would be to apply through Indigo Cadet Pilot Program because after completion of training, you will directly get recruitment in Indigo as a Pilot and you need not to search job. Otherwise, also you can directly apply to NIFT and after completion of training, you can apply for jobs.

Hi,
For CPL, you need PPL from Canada or 200 hours of flying along with 60% in CPAER which is a transport exam. Check the best two courses from Calgary and St Thomas universities here:
