Hi,
You are eligible for the exam.
This year, the number of vacancies are going to release for loco pilot and the highest number of vacancies will be from the northern region.
Passenger trains are operated by a Loco Pilot and Assistant Loco Pilot whereas EMU/MEMUs are worked by a motorman (only one staff on board).

Eligibility
1. A minimum of 10+2 with PCM as the subjects.
2. At least 50 percent marks in 12th standard.
3. The age limit to obtain commercial pilot licence is 18 to 30 years.
Physical Requirements
>Height
The minimum height to become commercial pilot is 5 feet.
>Eyesight
6/6 vision is required to become commercial pilot. Candidates are allowed to wear eyeglasses but no lasik operation. You are eligible for the course if your distance vision is correctable to 20/20 while near vision to 20/40 with eyeglasses.

Airline pilots are one of the most exciting job and one of the most paid job. A fresher usually gets Rs.75K and as your experience increases, your package also increases drastically. For an average, a pilot of 25-30 years, who has an experience of 1000 hours of flight get paid from Rs.2 lakhs to Rs.4 lakhs per month.
Although, you get paid in lakhs, but you have to keep Rs.20 lakhs to Rs.25 lakhs to attain your Commercial pilot license.

Based on your educational qualification, you are eligible to obtain CPL. You may join any DGCA approved flying cub and learn flying to fulfill your dream of becoming a pilot.

Perfect vision is not a requirement. There are many professional pilots who wear glasses. The FAA has vision limitations that are tested during the aero-medical physical examination, but glasses are permitted.
