Hi,
To become a commercial pilot:
* You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (physics and mathematics) with 50%.
* Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory, you must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
* You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

It is quite difficult to obtain CPL as its costly and education is also tough but definitely it is more paying in comparison to aircraft maintenance engineering profession. Opportunities for both pilot and aircraft engineers is equally good. You may choose any based on your interests.

Sorry dear, nowadays pilot training is very costly as they charge around 10k for 1 hour flying, you need 200 hours flying to get your pilot license. There are a lot of extra charges also. It will cost you around 40 lacs to complete your flying training from a good flying club.
You can apply for scholarship programs from Rashtriya Udyan Academy Govt. flying clubs, but that scholarship is available for backward class only, not for general class.

Hello Supriya,
Yes, you can be a pilot but there are different rules of correction. You can wear glasses and still be an airline pilot as long as your vision is correctable to 20/20.

Yes, you can do pilot training from any institute in India after 10th. But for getting the licence, you have to pass 12th with physics and maths. You can do it with NIOS easily as it is valid for it.

As I told you earlier Vishal, you can not be a commercial pilot in 26 lakhs. They will only give you flight trading and nothing else. It's my suggestion that you should not waste your money till you are well satisfied about the trading and all things.
All the best.

Hello Vishal Yadav,
Please don't go for these calls. These are just spam calls because there is no flying club in the world which will give you CPL in 26 Lacs. And, all the facilities plus placements are not at all possible. You need at least 80 Lacs to be a pilot with job.
