Hello,
The flying pilots are now not allowed to fly, if BMI is overweight for the second consecutive time. Hence, you should try to come down to a normal BMI range. Belly size will obviously come down in the process. And, it will not matter till the time you are in a normal BMI range. All the best.

In defense services, no license is required to fly an aircraft because they are exempted from it. Whereas in civil aviation a license is a must to fly an aircraft. A commercial pilot learns to fly various routes as per Jepesson Charts across the globe. Responsibilities differ in both the sectors. Hi,
Basic eligibilities criteria to become Commercial Pilot:
a. You should have completed the 10+2 years of education with physics, chemistry, maths as your major subjects
b. You must have scored 50 percent of marks in the above-mentioned education
(b)Flying Pilot in Indian Air Force. You can join Indian Air Force Flying branch by appearing for NDA after 12th board or CDS after Science graduation degree.

If you had PCM in +2 stage, then you are eligible to become commercial pilot. You may join any flying club to get flying training and license.

The minimum eligibility to take this course is completing 16 years of age, passed 12th with Physics and Maths as subjects and cleared Class- I & Class-II medical. If you clear the minimum eligibility criteria then there are three steps upon completing them you will get a Commercial Pilot License: 1.

An airline pilot works for an airline, obviously; and in theory, yes, you can become a pilot with an airline after the age of 40. But before you take any steps, get your Class 2 and Class 1 medical tests done. Then, and only then, take the required steps.

In India, if one have a flying experience of 250 hours, they can work as a commercial pilot. The salary of a commercial pilot is high in India. As a fresher, they can earn Rs 1.5 Lacs per month. To be a commercial pilot abroad, one has to have a flying experience of 750 hours & have a basic license experience.
