Students have to pass the entrance test and must be physically fit as per the guidelines of the aviation enterprises. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) led a national level entrance exam each year, which is known as IGRUA Entrance Test. Entry-level pilots can earn up to Rs 1.5 Lakhs per month with domestic airlines and even higher on international routes. Senior pilots can earn in the vicinity of Rs. 5 Lakhs upwards per month.
