Yes, you can prepare to become a pilot.
You need to understand that pilot training is governed and regulated by DGCA and it is irrespective of the flying school you choose to train with. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criterion, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you visit http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/me

Yes, you can go for aeronautical engineering. The only thing you have to do is give entrance exam required for ISRO and you will get lateral entry in ISRO. Hope this helps you. Be free to share any problem you have.

Hi,
Duration of this course would be 16 months. The above course would give you a theoretical knowledge only.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies or with flying schools abroad.

Hi,
There are many ways through which you could become a pilot or a fighter pilot in Indian Air Force or in Navy through different entries after your class 12th or graduation. After your class 12th, you could apply for direct entry of navy which is 10 + 2 B.Tech entry scheme The selection through this is based upon JEE Mains examination after getting selected you could opt for aviation branch in Naval Academy and for Air Force you have to get graduated first to become a fighter pilot then you can apply for graduate entries like AFCAT CDSE NCC etc.

NDA is one such opportunity, which provides you to become a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force, but it is not necessary that you become through NDA only you can apply for pilot in IAF after doing your aeronautical engineering from private University through graduate entries I like AFCAT CDSE etc.
