Absolutely, there is a minimal issue. There is a requirement that if you need glasses, then you must carry 2 pairs with you at all times.
Here is an extract from the CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner's Handbook.
Professional Flight Crew and ATCs
For all professional flight crew and ATC: 6/9, corrected if necessary, in each eye separately. Additionally, the acuity must be 6/6 or better when tested with both eyes open.

Becoming a commercial pilot can be considered difficult, but just as difficult as many things we achieve in life. Once you become a commercial pilot, to keep being one, you need the same level of dedication and effort you put when becoming one.
It requires dedication, studies, and some personal sacrifices. You need to keep current all the time, so you have to keep studying throughout your entire career.
You will have simulator examinations every six months and every time you fly a new aircraft type. You also have to pass a medical examination every year.

IGRUA and NFTI conduct Entrance Exam for CPL candidates.
Apart from the above two schools, all others take admission for CPL on direct entry basis.

Irrespective of the country of issue of CPL the subjects remain the same. Almost all the CPL issuing authority across the globe are governed by International Civil Aviation (ICAO). Hence the subject remain same. Following is the list of subjects:
1. Air Navigation
2. Aviation Meteorology
3. Air Regulations
4. Aviation Technical
5. Aircraft Specific
6. Radio Telephony.

They take admission on direct entry basis.
You should although justify the minimum requirement i.e. 12th with 50% marks in PCM.
You can directly approach them and take admission for CPL Training.

Student Pilot License (SPL) & Private Pilot License (PPL) are intermediate stages of Commercial Pilot License Training. You will be issued an SPL by the flying club after some hours of ground classes and an internal exam. Thereafter you shall become eligible to start flying training. That is on your choice. Both of them are very different from each other. B.Tech. Is a graduation degree course whereas CPL is a professional Training. If you have a passion to fly and than go for CPL otherwise do Engineering and work for some MNC sitting in front of a computer. ;). .

Joining flying school for CPL is always better. They have all the facilities including the ground classes for trainee pilots. The Instructors are DGCA approved and experienced in their subjects, so the quality of training is better.

Flying Schools takes admission for CPL Entrants on direct admission basis. You can approach them directly and ask for admission procedures and they shall guide you for the same. You need to have passed class 12 with 50% marks in PCM for joining CPL Training, that is the minimum requirement. IGRUA and NFTI conduct their entrance exam for CPL Entrants.
