For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires 50% in PCM to be a pilot. And even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible.
Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visit http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htm and go to the class 2nd examiners tab to find out doctors who will examine you for initial fitness. You can visit any doctorate from the list as per your convenience

If you belong to reserved category like OBC/SC/ST then you can contact your community commission. They have schemes and provide freeship and scholarships to candidates belonging to their community. You may also do 'C' Certificate of Air Wing, it will help you in getting 40 hrs of free-flying from any government flying club. Otherwise the last resort is loan from banks. Which almost everyone does. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. To become a pilot, aspirants need to join a flying school after the completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%. They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, they also need to clear the physical fitness (Which is tough one). Only totally fit person can get the opportunity to get admission in flying schools. After the completion of studies, they get the pilot license. Airliners hire the successful candidates as a trainee.

Qualification required to join India Navy as a pilot is BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics & Maths in 12th standard. A candidate holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India)(optional).
They also have a lateral entry like Air Force does for CPL Entrants.
SSB is an integral part of the selection procedure which will be conducted after you get through the written exam.
Indian Coast Guard is another wing of defence and also operates on similar lines of India Navy.
They also have CPL entry and allow candidates to be inducted on Dornier, Chetak, etc., aircraft.

If you are interested, you come back to India and get an Indian CPL then the basic requirements remain the same as in India.
10+2 with 50% marks in PCM. Since you will be returning to India and get your license issued by DGCA here.
In case you are joining them for FAA License then you will have to fly a number of hours more than those required in India.
Expect 250 hours of flying+Multi Engine for 15 hours and hence the total should be around 265 - 270 hours.
So, obviously, you will have to pay more to get FAA license and then come back to India and get it converted to India CPL.
