Firstly only with CPL you cannot become a Flight instructor, you need to complete instructor rating, that cost you around 4-5 lakhs, then The salary of a flight instructor in India soon after completing a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and instructor rating ypically ranges from ?4 Lacs to ?5 Lacs per annum for entry-level positions. As instructors gain experience and qualifications, their salaries can increase significantly, reaching up to ?12 Lacs per annum or more depending on the flying school and specific role.

Hello, They already have 200 hours of flight time, which is the bare minimum needed to be chosen as a pilot by any airline. In general, no more experience beyond a CPL is required. Most airlines only hire pilots with CPLs. Sometimes certain openings are advertised that call for applicants to have a specified amount of flight time or type rating, but they are again very precise, as I just indicated.

Hello, To be a pilot, you must at least have a 10+2 (PCM 55%) Diploma. You must take the entrance exam held by several government and private flying clubs and schools. Just keep an eye on IGRUA and GFTS, two popular government institutions. Most importantly, invest cautiously because pilot training is highly expensive. Happy New Year!

Good day, Amrit Raj Perhaps the cheapest tuition for the commercial pilot course is charged by the Bihar Flying Institute. It can be because of a subsidy provided by the Bihar government. For the entire course, it costs roughly Rs. 18 Lac. Of course, a student needs to pass the BCECE admission exam. I've included a link that will provide you with some further information to aid you. https://www.shiksha.com/college/Bihar-flying-institute-Patna-125713/courses
I wish you well.

I am a civil engineer by profession and have done MBA. My dream is to become a pilot. I am now planning to quit my job and apply for CPL in a flying school. Can you tell what all should I be aware of and prepared beforehand, i.e. entrance exams, fee structure, etc.
Thanks.

Hello,
Private License although it has got its own privileges and yes you can fly an aircraft after getting that. But, if you think of a job after PPL then it's next to impossible. No jobs are available for PPL holders, it is just an intermediate stage before CPL. All the best.
