Hi Ishanuj,
You must have a minimum of 55% PCM in class 12th. If you are going to take your flying classes from government flying schools there will be an entrance test conducted by the Director General Civil Aviation or the DGCA. Being a pilot requires a lot of specialized technical training at various levels. In brief, the first level is that of a Student Pilot License (SPL), which allows the student to learn. After getting some training the student is provided with a Private Pilot License (PPL), which allows him to captain an aircraft without passengers. After gaining some training and experience he has to qualify for the Commercial

Yes, definitely you are eligible to apply CPL after +2 with science stream. But, you need to have huge money.
In my opinion after +2, PPL is better. After doing this, go for CPL and Ground handling etc. All the Best.

Hi Smita,
The placement after you get a CPL depends on many factors such as:
Your age,\
Type of CPL license,
Hours logged,
Type of aircraft/
How well you fare in the test/interview at the airlines etc.
Having said that since India is supposed to grow into one of the world's the largest airline industry in the coming years, the chances of you getting it into the cockpit in the future is far better. But many airlines prefer people with experience in flying (Indian Air Force background) or at least with multi-engine ratings.
