Yes, you can enroll in flying school, but you will be eligible for the Student Pilot License (SPL). The age criteria vary according to the level of license. A student pilot license requires you to be at least 16 years old, and you must have completed Class 10. However If you wish to enroll in flying school for a Private Pilot License (PPL), then you need to be 17 years old at the time of application. In addition, you had math and Physics at class 12th level. Apart from this, you will also require medical clearance from the appropriate authorities and clear pilot aptitude tests.

There is no conventional learning involved in the pilot training course but a series of written and medical tests with hands-on practical flying time and instruction that help the student proceed through the course. There are around 110 flying/pilot training colleges in India, and out of them, approximately 98% are private. Normally, a student first gets a Student Pilot License (SPL), then moves on to a Private Pilot License (PPL), and then finally proceeds to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Greetings, Midun Varsan M. You aspire to become a pilot after graduating from engineering school. Right? According to a conservative estimate, the cost of training to obtain a CPL in South Africa is over $50,000. In addition, one must stay there for about 18 months. This expense is in addition to that. I believe you could have the same training here in India at a lot lower cost than you would pay abroad. Of course, the choice is yours to make.

Good day, Rakesh Verma. You should absolutely consider obtaining a DGCA licence for service and maintenance, in my opinion. With your IAF experience, you may without a certain obtain this licence. Visit the DGCA website to SEE for yourself how many exams you must take and what coursework must be completed in order to obtain this licence. I wish you well.

Passing the 12th grade with math and physics as courses is the minimum requirement to enroll in any flight school. Some flying academies hold tests, while others rely on admittance on a student's grade in the 12th grade. The training lasts roughly 18 months, but it could be prolonged if flying hours couldn't be accumulated. I wish you well.

Good day, Girish Sajjan. No, there is no maximum age for completing pilot training. Of course, a medical examination will be conducted in accordance with the criteria outlined by the DGCA. In fact, you might be astonished by how many individuals are lining up to enrol in flying schools. According to reports, many veterans are interested in taking this training to become pilots!
I wish you well.

Good day, I'm glad to have you. For contact information, check out the college or university's official website. You can also stop by the institution to learn more about the details of your inquiry. Both a chief of training and a placements officer are almost universal in colleges. By simply browsing this college's website, you can find out everything you need to know about it. Hope it's useful.
