The interested candidate should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognised board to be eligible for applying in UP Police.  The age limit is 18-25 years for male candidates and 18-28 for female candidates. Please note that everything is carefully verified along with physical standards.There are certain reservations for Ex-servicemen, Home Guards, Dependents of freedom fighters, etc.
