 Candidates with a 10+2 (Intermediate) class pass certificate or its equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to apply.  The UPPRB has recently allowed 3 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit for all the category candidates.The UP Police Constable age limit is 18 - 25 years for male and 18 - 28 years for female candidates. The UP Police Constable age limit for OBC/SC/ST males is 18-31 years, while that for females belonging to these categories is 18-34 years.Candidates meeting the UP Police Constable eligibility criteria can fill the UP Police Constable application. form from 27th December to 16th January 2024. The steps to fill up the form are as follows: Step 1: Visit the official website of the UP Police which is uppbpb.gov.in.Step 2: A new page will appear on the candidate's screen. Click on the "Recruitment" section and select "Police Constable Recruitment"Step 3: Enter all the required details in the application form.Step 4: Upload the necessary documents as required. Step 5: After filling the application form, pay the application fee and make the final submission.Step 6: Once the form has been filled up, take printout of the application form for future reference. 

For the police exam preparation, first, know about the syllabus and exam scheme as they comprise sections such as general awareness, logical reasoning, and numerical ability. Make a timetable on how to study dedicating 4-6 hours daily for 3-6 months. Concern yourself with attaining physical fitness because some of the tests carry out during police exams may require one to; touch the 100 meter within 15 sec or complete 1.6km run within 10 min. Solve mock tests and previous years' question papers to develop skills in time management and lessen errands. Also, one may join coaching for which charges about INR 8000 to 20000 usually to get proper preparation and advice from experts.

In fact, as an SC category candidate, you can apply to join the police forces of India. SC candidates also enjoy specific provisions in Indian police recruitment. There is some sort of reservation in posts as well as relaxed eligibility for SC candidates.Reservation: The SC candidates are generally reserved in the police recruitment process to occupy a certain percentage of posts.
