An aspirant to enter into the National Defense Academy for Political Science has to write the NDA examination that is conducted by the UPSC in order to qualify for the exams. Apply only by a candidate who is a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who settled in India before January 1, 1962. Candidates should be unmarried males having passed at least 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board or university.
