Jamia Millia Islamia offers Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Admission to this course is done through JMI Entrance Exam. Candidates who qualify the written test and meet the cut off declared by the university are called for counselling. Essential Qualification : (1) A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Political Science / Public Policy from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. The overall difficulty level for the UGC NET Political Science paper 2 was easy to moderate in nature. The Paper comprised questions from Indian Political Thought, Chipko Movement, International Relations (1945), Comparative Public Administrations, Acceptance Theory, Public Policy (Paragraph), Current Affairs (Military Exercise), Indian Foreign Policy, Containment Theory (Who Coined), Kautilya Theory (Suptang), etc. On the other hand, the UGC NET paper 1 difficulty was easy to moderate. The UGC NET Political Science exam was carried out on March 6, 2023 in two shifts.
