The estimate of cut off depends on the number of candidates appeared for the entrance exam, the total number of candidates qualified the exam, number of seats available etc. Cut off changes every year, last cut off was 65 for General and 60 for SC/ST. In 2018 cut off expected 75-80 for general and 70-75 for SC/ST.

The subjects for semester 1 are colonialism in india, concurrent qualifying language, understanding political theory, constitutional democracy and government of India. The subjects for semester 2 are national in India, political process in india, political theory, concurrent credit language.
