All colleges in Mumbai University provide such facility. You can take admission in B.Tech after you are done with your Diploma. Your admission will be based on your scores in Diploma. Get in touch with colleges to know more specifics about it like when it starts, fees etc.

Hello Alma, Majority of the top colleges including the government colleges allow for lateral entry in their 4 year engineering degree courses directly into the second year. Perhaps the noted exceptions are IIT's and NIT's. They do not have facility for lateral entry. This forces them to accept students at least in the second year of 4 year course so that they get the fees for remaining three years to run their institutions. Best wishes for your dream of securing adm

Before answering your question, let me introduce a little bit about myself.
I am also a diploma holder in ECE of 2009-2012 batch from Guru Nanak Dev Co-Ed Polytechnic, Delhi. I am a mediocre person im studies.
So, when I was in your situation (what to do after completion of diploma), I did the following:
Gave interviews (both on campus & off campus), and failed miserably as they were not core EC companies and I was not prepared for this.

Hello Muhammad,
Your query is a little cryptic one. If you had written in details, it would have been better answered then. Of course, I will still try to answer, as the way I have understood your query. Perhaps what you are saying is that, after completing your 3 years of study in a Polytechnic College doing Diploma in mechanical engineering you are no more interested in further studies, but is looking for jobs. Right? If this is so it is okay. There are plenty of Jobs available for Diploma holders in mechanical engineering. Indian industry is already showing signs of revival and is hiring in good numbers.
