The Directorate of Distance Education at Pondicherry University offers a variety of courses including undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.Some of the courses offered include, MBA, B.A., MSC, M.Com, B.Com, M.A.,

There is no age limit in particular to apply for admission to the university. However, the candidate must have a degree certificate from a UGC-recognized university.

In reference to the University's regulations, a student needs to secure a 50% aggregate marks to pass the MBA programme which includes both the internal assessment and end-semester examination marks. A minimum of 40% marks must be secured by the student in order to be considered as pass.

Based on the UGC regulations, Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University is the First in India to conduct Job Fairs to the Distance learners.

DDE stands for 'Directorate of Distance Education'. The course can be completed under the two modes that are offered by the university I.e the direct/conventional mode or the Twinning Programme – through authorized Institutions by the Pondicherry University.

There is no such thing as the 'best' degree course. DDE Pondicherry does offer 8 degree courses under the undergraduate course and 4 courses under the post graduate course.
