Yes, Pondicherry University does provide a refund in case of withdrawal of admission. The refund of fees is facilitated as per the UGC guidelines. No, to get admitted into the Pondicherry University BTech course, students must have taken the CUET examination. For Computer Science & Engineering, students are required to take CUET Computer Science. For other specialisations, they must present a valid score in CUET Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry.Based on these scores, students are ranked and allocated a seat. Moreover, the students must also fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the university.

Yes, Pondicherry University has several provisions for differently abled candidates. Firstly, such candidates are exempted from payment of entire fees. Moreover, 5% of seats in each course are reserved for differently abled candidates. Such candidates must submit a certificate from a government hospital indicating the extent of physical disability and also the extent to which the disability hampers the candidate in pursuing his/her studies. Moreover, all candidates who are differently abled and passed the qualifying examination are eligible to apply irrespective of the percentage of marks obtained.

Yes, the degrees offered by Directorate of Distance Education DDE are valid for government jobs because all the DDE's programs are approved by the AICTE,New Delhi and the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) UGC, New Delhi. Pondicherry University is recognised by the UGC. The Government of India governs Pondicherry University through the Ministry of Human Resource Management (MHRD).
