Yes, you may get. You have a fair chances of getting a seat in IIT just wait for counseling procedure that is CCMT but I have doubt that whether this IIT offer this course in which you want to take the admission since many other IIT too offered this course but this IIT does't because last year also this IIT did not release the cutoff for power electronic. So I suggest you take just verify whether the course is available in the IIT or not. Also check other IIT like Delhi, Bombay this might offer seat in power electronic.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results for their final year examination of Masters degree are also eligible to appear for UGC NET 2018. PhD is a very specialized study. I can suggest application of electronics in managing non-conventional power sources viz. solar or wind turbines. Improvement in their efficiency, improvement in transmission, loss reduction are some of the topics that I can suggest.
