Both are good. One can opt for analytics as specialization in the 2nd year of PGPBM. Analytics involves statistics and programming. One has to be good at it. For directly into PGPBA, I want to know about your work experience?

MAT cut-off will be around 85-90 and CMAT cut-off will be around 80-85. Selection process involves essay writing, psychometric test and personal interview. To know that much regarding profile based but it matters a bit, if you want to opt for business analytics.

Placement is very nice in PGPBA. It is not compulsory to live in hostel but it is advisable to live in hostel keeping in view the assignments, interaction with faculties etc. Hostel fee is Rs 7,000 per month for single room. Mess fee is around Rs 4000-4500 per month.

Yes, as it is a completely residential campus and course. Classes are planned accordingly. So, hostel stay is mandatory.

No, you need to have above 70 percentile in CAT, else, you have to under go Praxis Aptitude Test followed by essay writing, psychometry test and PI.

Well it's a question of perspective. It depends on your background. If you have some coding background and did a lot of Maths then you will breeze through this course. If not you would have hard time. Apart from that the placement coordination, alumni support and the exposure to the data science world is very good. Average package is around Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum. But for freshers it would be around Rs 5.5 lakh. The domain knowledge you will get is outstanding. Only catch is you should be handy with coding.
