Yes, a PCB student can apply for petroleum engineering.

As of now, there is no M.Tech in Presidency University, Bangalore. And if you're looking forward doing B.Tech post your plus two with PCB, all the beaches of engineering are opened to choose from apart from CS.

The campus life is very relaxing, we have 3 breaks in a day and the canteen serves food and beverages all the time! But we are not let out without an outpass if we'd want to go out. Apart from that we have indoor games like, Chess, carrom and table tennis, outdoor sports like foodball, cricket & volleyball. We have had one fest till now, and more is coming soon! Small programs like guest lecturers, Kannada rajyothsava and Onam happen also take place. As of now, we have only two industrial visit, local and national respectively.

The placements are average as of now. But, they have guaranteed a job for everybody. End of the day, it is all about how sound are you with your communication & knowledge.
