The eligibility criteria for admission to Presidency University Kolkata are the student should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. For BA English the candidates must have obtained 80 percent marks in Arts OR 85 percent marks in Science/Commerce and 75 percent marks in English. The cut-off is the aggregate of the percentage scored in the last exam plus the marks obtained in the entrance test. The first cut off varies from 170 to 180 or more.
