If you handle it properly, it's not difficult to crack. In total, 200 questions must be answered in 3 hours. This gives each inquiry a time limit of under a minute. Some questions are straightforward and quick to answer, while others are challenging and time-consuming. Around 2786 rank was the BE in Production Engineering cutoff for last year. You risk losing out on simple questions if you become stuck on difficult ones for an extended period of time. Go through the questions once, then skip any that seem to demand more thought than the others that are more broad. But save that for last.

Marks required for industrial and production branch may vary according to category and gender .85+ percentile is a sure shot to get into this branch from general category and a male .80+ percentile may also work. However in college level counseling round the cutoff even decreases more to 75 or 70  percentile. The branch is decent. If you want to go for MBA in operations you can opt this branch it will help in future

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Production Engineering was 29121 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission. Since the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.
