Yes, Somaiya accepts CAT scores for MMS. But since CAT is an All-India level exam, its cutoff is very high i.e. in the range of 99.8-99.9 percentile mark.

Hello! Along with the IIMS (the old ones), FMS New Delhi ranks among the top ten B-schools in India. It too has a unique brand value of its own and is renowned for its excellent placements and the best ROI in the country. Some rankings would show it in the top five; some in the top ten. But overall, it is one of the best non-IIMs out there for sure.

It depends on your category. If you are a general category student, you need to score upwards of 99 percentile to get an interview call.

Goa Institute of Management accepts scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT. Score of at least one of these exams must be available for seeking admissions. You can still register for XAT and CMAT. Of course you can also consider GMAT. Good luck.

My sincere advise is do not look for a college without competitive exam score. If you think your CAT score will not be good, think of other exams. There are cases where a person does badly in on e exam but does lot better in other exams.

GIM offers electives, without forcing a major or minor on students, so whether to pick up enough subjects to call it a major is choice of a student. A significant no of students do major in Operations. Many enggs with prior experience in Operations like to take Ops major. Operations major has a range of electives- core operations, supply chain management, and Information Technology. Students look for the roles in large corporate, IT service providers and consultancy organizations.
