Well, for admission through APL, you need to firstly give us your details as to which course you are doing presently, the cohort marks, and into which course you are applying. Once you fill up the APEL forms, then you will be called for an interview and it will be decided as to which level you can be given the admission.

But most probably you will get the Syntax of the language fairly quickly (1-2 months with no experience) assuming you have no experience with programming: You have to keep learning 2-3 hours per day 5 days per week.
