For that you have to first gain the skills of coding in almost 3 programming languages, then you have to apply for the google code JAM. If you got good rank, then you can easily grab good post in Google.

See they will teach you almost all the main programming language but it's upto you only that in which language you have to become professional and the package is almost same for everyone as in that campus all the companies came to recruit the students.

Your salary package totally depends upon your level of skills and knowledge you have in the field in which you to work. Your college will not provide you that level of help which you are expecting. Your college might fix up a lot of big IT companies for placement, but it's your skill and marks that'll get you the job. If you can afford to get admission into that reputed college only then take admission into it, don't force your parents if it goes out of budget. If you want job, then you can apply online there are various companies that hire freshers for the job at low salary but once you get a job and an experience of at least one year then you can easily grab job of 10-12 LPA.

Your college will teach you some core programming languages like C, C+ and Java. No matter what every college/university irrespective of the course teaches these 3 Languages in India. So, you should learn programming languages apart from the Languages taught in your college. You can learn C#, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift, Ruby, Go etc. Make sure, whatever Language you learn, learn it by heart, and so if someone asks you anything in that language you should be able to clearly address the issue.
