If you learn and become expert of any object oriented language such as C+ then you can learn other programming languages easily. It is suggested that you make effort to learn C+ and become an expert, it will help you in your career as developer.

My personal experience says that you should learn Java first. Java is a great language and is most in demand. Also if you end up learning java, python will be a cake walk. Java is 15 times faster than python and hence more scope of applications.
