Another approach is to focus more on learning one programming language well. Once you're proficient at one language, the next one will be easier (just like learning natural languages). Some programming fundamentals stick with you across languages. If you can't decide, go with the programming language approach. If you don't have a favorite language, go with JavaScript or Python. International students to be able to have a good understanding of English. That is the reason why language exams like TOEFL and IELTS are compulsory for Indian students (some exceptions could be there).
