Game designing and graphic design are not the same, but they are related fields that often work together in the game development process. Game designing involves the creation and development of game concepts, mechanics, levels, and overall game structure. It also involves creating and balancing game rules, objectives, and challenges to provide players with an enjoyable experience. Game designers work with game developers, artists, and programmers to bring their ideas to life. Graphic design, on the other hand, involves the creation of visual content to communicate information or ideas to a target audience. This includes the design of l

UI design stands for User Interface design, which is the visual or graphical side of design. Some UX designers will also do some UI, but other UX designers will only go as far as research and wire frames. Web design tends to be less iterative, whereas UX design is about integrating continuous improvements. UX design stands for User Experience design and tends to be the invisible or behind the scenes side of design. Its all the work that goes into creating an app, website, software, or service. UX design includes design and user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, and content strategy. Web designer

No, it is not true. Still, they are offering the same diploma course in journalism. The Institute conducts a year-long full-time PG Diploma programme in Journalism with the objective of churning out fully-trained journalists and content professionals for leading media organisations - not just in India, but abroad.
The students are selected based on an All-India written examination, which is followed by personal interview at Delhi and other metros. Students can download the form from the website and submit a non-refundable fee for appearing for the exams. They also need to attach copies of relevant certificates with the application form

Yes, it is a lucrative career but competition is very tough. There are about 5-10 openings for car design on average a year. I would suggest going to Europe as a preference for learning automotive design. You can also check DYPDC, Pune and NID which has an undergrad programme in this respective field.

Yes dear! Absolutely different they are. While real time project handling is considered the two terms are completely different in scope. Graphic design particularly deals with technologies like Photoshop, Core Draw, Logo designing, Illustrator etc. While you are a graphic designer you shall be asked to actually create a visual view of complete project/website you are working on based on the skeletal idea provided to you through UX team or department. You need to work on setting suitable attractive and accessible to all color combinations for web project, colors for each and every element, creation of a styleguide document, measuring ea

There are multiple design colleges in India and abroad. Based on your financial strength, you can chose either of it. Studying abroad definitely gives you an exposure of global design spectrum with on-hands experience of being mentored by industries leading professionals and designers. However, it is suggestive to pursue Masters from abroad since by then it will give you a clear road map of what specific specialization you want to explore further. India has some great colleges too for undergrad courses in Graphic Design. Some of those are: NID (Ahmedabad), MIT (Pune), NIFT (Mumbai & Delhi), Pearl Academy (Delhi), Shrishti Institute (Ba

Multimedia design as a standalone career option has become quite redundant now unless you have clubbed it with specialized skill-set. Itis better to explore areas like visual interaction design or motion design, which has far more better opportunities and is growing in multiple folds. This will open up many future prospects too.

You can choose any stream for your 10+2 on basis of your academics strength. It doesn't really have major implication as such when you pursue your career into Graphic Design, since it is a specialized course and you would need a formal training in it post schooling. Unfortunately, the syllabus systems for schools in India have not evolved as much that could aid students to explore other areas apart from Science, arts and commerce. You can be a Science, commerce or arts student. So choose a stream that you feel more inclined based on your core academic strength. PS: If it helps, I took up commerce after my class 10th.
