As a PGDM student, I would suggest you to do PGDM in PSGIM, because people here are much industry exposed, and they have wide knowledge about trends in industry. All the best.

The score will depend based on the community which you belong to. General candidates need to score more than 70 to stand a chance to join PSGIM. Backward class candidates must score atleast 65 to get admitted into PSGIM.

The main and only difference comes in the free structure. TANCET candidates will pay just 5-6 Lacs where as MAT candidates will have to pay around 10-11 Lacs for the entire course.

Usually, PSG conducts interviews in three or four cycles to still the seats of PGDM, MBA-Anna and MBA-UT programs. You will be asked to appear for interview on a Sunday and the results will be announced either Wednesday or Thursday on the same week. The first cycle will have more time to confirm your seat by paying your first installment (30 to 40 days), whereas other interview cycles will have comparatively lesser time (10-15 days) to pay your first installment fees.

Placements are common for all the courses at PSGIM. In 2017-19, it has currently witnessed a very well improved placements. The average salary package offered at PSGIM comes around 6.5 LPA.

The TANCET score is very much essential for you to get into PSG MBA programme. It depends on the community which you belong to. MBA UT is a good program. But it is valuable only if you go to the University of Toledo for your second year. I don't say that spending two years in PSGIM won't provide value. It provides lesser value than the aforesaid program. But, if you want to pursue your second year at US, it is mandatory to write any of the exams as follows: GRE, TOEFL, IELTS. Generally, students MBA students prefer TOEFL or IELTS.
